What does Section 508 accessibility actually involve?
Semantic HTML structure, a logical heading order, full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators, sufficient color contrast, alternative text throughout, and screen reader compatibility. We test with automated tools and by hand, because automated scanning alone misses a large share of real barriers. Accessibility is built in from the first design decision rather than remediated at the end, which costs less and holds up better.
Are you eligible for set-aside awards?

Who handles hosting?
You do, or a hosting provider of your choosing. We do not operate server infrastructure. We build to your environment, deploy into it, and document exactly how the product is configured so your IT team can support it. Where a contract requires managed hosting as part of the award, we set the site up on an established enterprise platform and manage that account on your behalf, so the platform carries the uptime commitment and security operations. Either way you own the account and can move it at any time.
Can our staff update the site without a developer?
Yes, where the project is built on a content management system. We configure reusable templates and page layouts so your team composes new pages from approved components, and we hand over written documentation covering the day to day tasks.
Do you work on existing systems, or only new builds?
Both. Much of the principal past performance listed above involved improving what already existed: front-end development inside an established application, accessibility work on a live system, redesigning an interface without rebuilding what sits underneath it, and adding reusable components to a platform another team maintained.
